LOCATION
The Caruso Belvedere perches on a clifftop at the highest point of Ravello, and enjoys breathtaking views over Italy's world-famous Amalfi Coast. Daily shuttle buses ferry guests down to the port of Amalfi, a 15-minute drive away, and Naples is an hour away by car.
 
AMBIENCE, ACCOMMODATION AND SERVICE
The Caruso Belvedere is a former 11th Century palace set amidst fragrant Mediterranean gardens of white roses, jasmine and lemons. The terraced gardens look out over the Amalfi Coast and are a haven of relaxation where guests can lounge in the sun or dip into the infinity-edge swimming pool. A dedicated pool concierge takes care of every guest need providing iPods, Evian sprays and fresh fruit.

Atop the hill and surrounded by gardens stands a white villa that houses the Caruso Wellness Centre. The spa offers a large menu of massages and body treatments that includes a citrus massage, and kids and teen facials, manicures and pedicures. The fitness centre features a selection of TechnoGym equipment, all facing out onto the gardens and Amalfi Coast scenery.

Complimentary mini-cruises on the hotel's wooden boat leave from Amalfi to take guests around the coast's many beautiful bays and hidden beaches.

The Caruso Belvedere has 48 rooms and suites, all with king-size bed, spacious bathroom, and garden or sea views. Village view rooms have their own terrace and garden area; deluxe rooms their own terrace with spectacular sea views. Suite accommodations offer sea views; some with and some without balconies. All rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player, minibar and tea/coffee making facilities.

Both of the Caruso's restaurants boast panoramic views of the Amalfi coast and serve traditional Neapolitan and Italian cuisine. Spectacular views from the Caruso's terrace make it an excellent choice for a romantic evening meal. Alfresco dining can also be enjoyed at the Belvedere, set beside the pool and surrounded by roses.
